New Filing Fee Deadlines for All Eligible Graduate Students

Effective March 28, 2012, the Graduate Division will require all eligible graduate students to submit a complete Filing Fee form by the end of second week of the quarter (date published in Registrar’s calendar). For the spring 2012 quarter, the Filing Fee deadline will be April 13, 2012. The Graduate Division will ensure all students follow the Continuous Registration and Filing Fee sections of Standards and Procedures.

Reason for Change
Starting March 13, 2012, graduate students file their theses and dissertations electronically. The electronic filing process requires that graduate students have an active UCLA Logon ID to begin the filing process through the Graduate Division website. Students who have advanced to candidacy, but have neither registered nor paid the filing fee, may not have an active Logon ID. The deadline ensures that eligible graduate students pay the filing fee in a timely manner, so that they have the active UCLA login needed for electronic filing.
