Adam J. Fowler

Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Adam moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue his education and interests in politics. He taught at the University of Arkansas while earning a master’s degree in political theory and is currently working on a Ph.D. at UCLA. His research focuses on attitude formation and party identification. Specifically, his work seeks to integrate a theory of perception into how we understand political attitude formation. He serves as the Associate Coordinator of the Consortium of Behavioral Scientists, a group of leading scientific authorities on human behavior who translate key findings from behavioral social science research into practical actions for use in progressive campaigns.

Adam is a member of the Fox Uncertainty Lab at UCLA. The laboratory research group investigates how people make judgments and decisions under conditions or risk and uncertainty by adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, drawing on psychology and economics.
