Melnitz Movies screenings are FREE to the UCLA community, including students, staff, faculty, and guests unless otherwise noted.
Movies are shown at James Bridges Theater (Melnitz 1409) at UCLA.
Tickets are available at the Melnitz box office the day of the screening one hour before show time and are given out on a first come, first serve basis--one ticket per person!
No late seating!

The James Bridges Theater is housed in Melnitz Hall, located in the northeast section of the UCLA campus.

Parking

Parking costs $10 in Lot 3, located just north of the James Bridges Theater. Purchase a daily permit at the parking booth located at Wyton Drive and Hilgard Avenue before 7:30 p.m., or from parking attendants at Lot 3 entrances, one hour before showtime. There is also a self-service pay station in Lot 3's northern extension.

Free parking is available on Loring Avenue (south of Sunset Blvd, east of Hilgard Avenue at Charing Cross Road) after 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends.

Public Transportation

Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus lines 1, 2, 3, 8 and 12 operate to and from the Hilgard bus terminal on week days until about 10:15 p.m., and then to and from the Ackerman bus terminal after about 10:15 p.m.. For schedules please visit www.bigbluebus.com.

Metro Bus lines 2, 305 and 761 will take you to Hilgard Ave. and Wyton Dr., a short walking distance from the James Bridges Theater. For schedules please visit www.metro.net.
