- Membership: The committee consists of nine members.
- Duties: The committee (l) receives nominations for recipients of distinguished teaching awards and recommends to the UCLA Alumni Association five members of the Division for awards. At least one award shall be given for distinction in teaching at the graduate level; (2) is responsible for advising the Division and departments with regard to policies that will enlarge the possibilities for distinguished teaching and improve the quality of instruction, including methods of evaluation of
teaching. - Meeting Schedule: Meets four times per year.
