Q. Whose idea was it for a graduate student resource center?

Q. Who funds the Graduate Student Resource Center
A. The Graduate Student Resource Center is funded by Student Affairs and the Graduate Students Association
Q. Who funds the Graduate Writing Center?
A. The Graduate Writing Center is funded by a $3/quarter fee (+$1 that is returned to graduate student aid). The fee was approved by a graduate student referendum in the spring of 2006.
Q. How do we know that the Graduate Student Resource Center and the Graduate Writing Center are doing the best they can for graduate students?
A. Both the GSRC and the GWC have graduate student majority oversight committees. Students on these boards are appointed by the Graduate Students Association.
Q. How can I be involved with the Graduate Student Resource Center?
A. One of the best ways to get involved is to volunteer to help with the New Graduate Student Orientation. Its also a great way to meet graduate students from across the campus. Look for an email asking for volunteers in the spring, or send us an email to let us know that you're interested.
