Funding Your Graduate Education - Learn about the various ways to fund your graduate studies. Topics will include information about finding extramural fellowships as well as on-campus resources. (also offered at 3:30pm)

1pm Health and Wellness Resources for UCLA Graduate Students - Representatives from the Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center, Student Psychological Services, Office for Students with Disabilities, Student Development, the Center for Women & Men, and UCLA FitWell will discuss the many resources that UCLA provides to help graduate students be well, stay well, and maybe even have some fun. 1pm Citation and Academic Integrity - Make the transition to graduate level work by learning about proper citation, what constitutes plagiarism, why and how to use information ethically, and many practical strategies for avoiding a serious breach of academic integrity and the Student Conduct Code. A representative from the UCLA Graduate Writing Center will also be on hand to provide a brief overview of graduate writing services. Ackerman View Point Conference Rooms

3:30pm Financial Aid - A representative from the UCLA Financial Aid Office will present information especially for incoming graduate students. Learn about deadlines, types of financial aid, how to apply, budgets, and how to submit petitions in order to maximize your award. Ackerman 2nd Floor Lounge
3:30pm Living in Los Angeles - Current UCLA grad students share their knowledge and answer your questions about life in LA. Kerckhoff Grand Salon
3:30pm Resources for Students of Color - This workshop is designed to address issues and provide information about valuable resources specific to the experiences of being a graduate student of color at UCLA. Ackerman View Point Conference Rooms
3:30pm Sustainability at UCLA - A panel of grad students and professionals talk about what UCLA is doing to promote sustainability and what you can do to be a part of it. Kerckhoff Staterooms
3:30pm Career Planning and Services for PhD Students - Join us for an early discussion of career planning guidelines and key Career Center services for PhD students interested in both academic and non-academic careers. James West Alumni Center
