Director of Communications
The Director of Communications is responsible for keeping the UCLA graduate student body aware of all pertinent GSA activity. The Director works to maintain a unified and professional GSA brand identity and facilitates the exchange of information between students, administration, council and various media outlets.
Jackie D'Almeida is a graduate student studying public policy in the Luskin School of Public Affairs. She graduated with honors from UCLA in 2017 with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Public Affairs. As an undergraduate she was an executive board member of the UCLA American Association of University Women, and a member of Tau Sigma and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies. She has worked at Human Rights Watch in the Children's Rights Division, and on the communications staff for Los Angeles City Council President Herb Wesson. She currently works as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies at UCLA.
