Administrative Affairs Director and
Internal Chief-of-Staff to the Internal Vice President
As Internal Chief-of-Staff to the Vice President–Internal Affairs, Josh coordinates with the Directors of Finance and Communications to keep the GSA office running smoothly and maintain open and effective communication with the UCLA graduate student community. In his capacity as Administrative Affairs Director, Josh works with GSA committee appointees to ensure that graduate student interests are represented across campus. Before starting his doctoral studies, Josh was the Administrative Coordinator for the Northwestern University Faculty Senate and, prior to that, conducted research on communal land rights on Nicaragua's Caribbean coast as a Fulbright grantee. Josh received his bachelor's degree from Amherst College and his master's degree from the University of Chicago.
