Winner Announced! The GSA wishes to thank all who submitted to the 2007 GSA Logo Scholarship Competition. We were overwhelmed by the terrific response and the incredible talent pool among graduate students here at UCLA. It was very difficult to choose a winner, but in the end our judges selected a logo that they feel best represents the GSA’s mission, values and purpose. The winner of the 2007 GSA Logo Competition is: Parisa Popalzai, a PhD student in the Islamic Studies Program Parisa's design did an excellent job of conveying the GSA as bold, professional, collaborative, inclusive and united. Her submission has been approved by the GSA Forum as the official GSA Logo and should be on our site shortly. We also wish to recognize our talented runners up: Elon Hartman from the Molecular Biology Program. Congratulations to Parisa Popalzai and thank you again to all who participated. Best, |
