Ryan Roberts

Ryan comes from a long line of Pennsylvanians and is originally from Scranton, PA (home of NBC's The Office). He completed a master's degree in the Dead Sea Scrolls in British Columbia and a master's degree in Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations at UCLA. Currently, he is working on a PHD in the Hebrew Bible, Northwest Semitic Languages, and Levantine Archaeology. His research interests center on biblical and “parabiblical” Dead Sea Scroll texts and how they inform our understanding of the textual transmission of the Hebrew Bible as well as integrating archaeological remains with Ancient Near Eastern texts.

Ryan is obsessed with visiting National Parks and National Historical Monuments throughout America.
