Publications Media Lab Guidelines
Kerckhoff Hall, Room 140
The Media lab is intended for publications’ related uses such as design, writing, editing and production of print and electronic media.
Reservations
Journals may reserve the Media Lab Monday thru Friday from 9-5pm. Beginning in the winter quarter (2007) journals may access the media lab using their bruin card. Extended-hours and weekend access will only be available upon reservation. To learn more or to make a reservation please contact the Publications Director (see below).
Sign-In
When you first enter the media lab, please sign in. The sign-in notebook is located on the desk immediately to the left as you enter the lab. You will need to provide your name, date, and journal.
General Guidelines
- Please follow appropriate login/logout procedures and be careful in handling all equipment. User will be responsible for any damage to equipment. If you have any questions, please contact Publications Director.
- Equipment may not leave the media lab.
- Installation or removal of programs on Media computers is not allowed without permission.
- Please do not leave media lab unattended.
- Please report any hardware/software problems to Publications Director.
