Appointments Process

---

Stipended Committee positions are appointed by the GSA Appointments Board. Campus Policy Committee and  Chancellor Advisory Committee positions are appointed by the GSA President. Academic Senate Committee positions are appointed by the GSA Vice President of Academic Affairs. Lastly, GSA Committee positions are appointed by GSA Officers.  All of the appointed positions outside of GSA must be approved by the GSA Forum after nominated by the Appointments Board or GSA Officers. 

The above list shall be subject to revision by the GSA. Typically, committee applications are open during the latter half of Spring quarter through the beginning of Fall quarter or until all positions are filled.  For more information about open positions, please visit the Get Involved tab on this website.
