UCLA CEILS-DGSOM Becoming an Anti-Racist Educator Initiative
The UCLA CEILS-DGSOM Becoming an Anti-Racist Educator Initiative seeks to hire a GSR interested in engaging in this work. The position is 25% time and is renewable quarterly. The GSR will work directly with the Program Director to adapt anti-racist educator workshops for DGSOM faculty and facilitating 1-2hr discussions on the topics. More details in the attached job description. GSR able to start immediately preferred. 2022 Startup UCLA Summer Accelerator
Open to all UCLA students and recent graduates, the Startup UCLA Summer Accelerator is a 10-week program in which participants are provided $5,000 and connections to industry professionals and mentors to work on their early-stage startup. The program includes various events including weekly office hours, fireside chats, skill workshops, and a mentor night. Participants are expected to work on their venture full-time at 40 hours a week. Unlike most accelerators, Startup UCLA takes no equity in your startup. - Applications are due by April 3rd (Note: Applicants must meet with a Startup UCLA venture consultant before April 1st in order to apply) |
2022 Eggers Entrepreneurial Seed Funding Prize
The Eggers Seed Funding Prize winner will receive $5,000 to develop their startup, as well as a mentor meeting with Barry Eggers, founding partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners. All UCLA students and alumni who have graduated within the last three years are welcome to apply, so long as their early-stage venture is at least 2/3 Bruin-owned and is pre-VC funding. Creating Outstanding Opportunities for Postdoctoral Trainees (COOPT) In Genomic Technologies
Creating Outstanding Opportunities for Postdoctoral Trainees (COOPT) in Genomic Technologies is a postdoc recruitment event hosted by Duke University's Center for Advanced Genomic Technologies (CAGT). The event invites a group of prospective postdocs to share brief presentations of their own research, learn about exciting projects currently underway in CAGT, meet with current trainees, and explore future research opportunities in labs of interest during 1:1 discussions. Prospective postdocs will be selected based on past experience; how their research interests fit with faculty interests, ongoing projects and other opportunities; strong record of training and scholarship; and originality of ideas that spark new and impactful lines of study in CAGT. *This is a paid position* APPLICATION MATERIALS

Black Feminism Initiative Graduate Fellowships
The UCLA Center for the Study of Women (CSW) is proud to offer the Black Feminism Initiative (BFI) Graduate Fellowships for the third year in a row. The BFI has established two $1000 fellowships to support intellectual work that centers Black feminist frameworks of analysis: the Alisia Bierria Graduate Fellowship in Black Feminist Research and the Mariame Kaba Graduate Fellowship in Black Feminist Research.
